Middle school students receive outstanding academic and social preparation for the challenges of high school with greater course selection, increased academic rigor, and more activities beyond the classroom.

Beavercreek High School has a challenging curriculum with an emphasis beyond the basic subject areas and a variety of instructional strategies designed to assist students in becoming successful.

Our Teaching Philosophy

Youngsters are nurtured to respect themselves and others and to develop a positive attitude about their future schooling.

Our middle schools believe in the "school within a school" concept that brings a small school atmosphere into the larger school environment.

Our Department of Curriculum and Instruction provides outstanding professional development for teachers to constantly improve their skills.

In addition, our Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) guides the district's long-term commitment to improving instruction.  OUR CIP has led to dramatic increases in student achievement.

Extracurricular Activities for Boys and Girls

Extracurricular activities are an important part of high school social life.

Sports.  Beavercreek Schools is a member of the GWOC Conference and are highly competitive in sports, having won state titles in cross-country and girls basketball in recent years.

Parent/teacher organizations are very active at all age levels.

Our school superintendent, Denny Morrison, invites you to please take the time to visit our schools and meet with them personally.  They are confident that you will find them eager to work with you to help your children thrive in the Beavercreek School System.
